Inclusion Lead School
Alfriston School are one of just 50 lead schools from across England that have been established and selected for our recognised expertise in engaging young disabled people in PE and Sport.
Our role is that of inclusion champions and visionaries to pave a way for inspirational, accessible and meaningful PE and school sport for every young person. We aim to empower teachers to be more inclusive in their practice, and provide inclusive competition and competition pathways for young people, raising their aspirations and providing inclusive leadership opportunities.

South Bucks School Sports Partnership
At Alfriston School, we believe that high-quality sport, PE and physical activity play a crucial role in our young people’s lives. We host the Inclusive South Bucks School Sport Partnership, where our motto is ‘A Sporting Chance for every child’.
We work with a number of primary schools and special needs schools from across South Bucks, to provide a wide range of exciting opportunities for our young people. We deliver a range of competitions and festivals, young leader training and support, addition to teacher training and support.
We work as part of a strong network, in order to communicate, share ideas and support schools in order to deliver high quality PE and School Sport across South Bucks.

South Bucks School Games Organiser
We are proud to be the host for the South Bucks School Games Organiser. We are one of eight hosts from across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes and we work with schools from across South Bucks, National Governing Bodies and the County Sports Partnership, LEAP.
The School Games events consist of four unique types of competition: intra-school competitions, local inter-school competitions, county finals, and the School Games National Finals.
Our role is that of an enabler and through competitive School Sport, we provide young people across South Bucks Schools with opportunities to take part in fun and inclusive festivals and competitions.
