23rd March 2020  Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s),  Today we find ourselves in a very different place at school, with 20 pupils attending.  These are the pupils whose parents are critical workers and who are unable to ensure their child is kept at home. 20th March 2020  Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s),  Following on from my letter yesterday, it is my intention that the school will remain open.  However, as an increasing number of staff are needing to stay at home we will not be able to operate fully as from Monday.  The latest guidance issued by the Government is:  Special schools, colleges and local authorities are advised to make case by case basis assessments of the health and safeguarding considerations of pupils and students on an education, health and care (EHC) plan. 18th March 2020  Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s),  As you will no doubt have already heard, the Government has made an announcement about school closures.  The message is:  It is clear that education and children’s social care settings are increasingly finding it difficult to continue as normal, as illness and self-isolation impacts on staffing levels and pupil attendance.  To provide parents, students and staff with the certainty they need we are announcing that schools, colleges and early years settings will be closed to everyone except children of key workers and vulnerable children from Monday, as part of the country’s ongoing response to coronavirus.  Examples of these…
