I hope you all managed to remain in good health and to enjoy the Easter break. The weather was glorious, and the community spirit has been uplifting.
As expected the lockdown has been extended, and from Monday we will continue to remain partially open for those pupils whose parents are critical workers and unable to keep them at home or with significant wellbeing and welfare vulnerabilities. Our staff have been in contact with many of you throughout this period, checking up on how you are, and offering support where needed. Please do make contact with the school if you have any concerns or are in need of help. We should be able to answer calls from Monday, and are always available via the office on email.
For those who are staying at home, home learning will resume on Monday, so look out for the work set on the pupil portal and encourage your daughter to make contact with their pastoral tutors and their teachers. It would be lovely to hear about some of the creative and original ideas that the girls have had, and of the things that they have done to make the most of their time whilst confined to the home.
I will keep you updated of any changes or developments, but it would seem that for the next couple of weeks or so, the situation is unlikely to move.
As ever, we send you our best wishes and are looking for the positives to be gained from this exceptional experience.
